el paso trip
August 18th, 2008So i this past weekend i made a trip down to el paso to spend some time with the friends. You can view those pics on myspace. So i made it into town straight to ryans house to take a shower and get ready. As well as give him his extremley late birthday gift. He loved them, if not i would have kept them . Then straight over to kinleys house for the ART BASH. It was really great to see every one ive been so out of the loop. I also havent seen rob in a good 2 years so that reconnection was fantastic. Within, minutes of showing up i was able to sell 1 of the 5 hand bags i had brought with me, to me that was already a sucess haha. Things were chill and it was nice to have a show not at a bar because the attention quickly fades from the art at a bar. Live painting was fun and i think all and all it was a great turn out with some great music and friends. To top it all off i didnt have any off the bags i had started with i either traded them for some pieces or money so it was good. That little show made me really look foward to living back in el paso one day again. For tonight im gonna post the shoes i gave ryan for his bday and some of the hand bags i have done so far. Unfortunantly for you guys these are all sold already but i will be making quite a bit more so hit me up for special request and what not.
